We’re seeking a talented and experienced Senior Software Engineer who is passionate about solving and delivering solutions for our customer problems and having a hand in evolving our engineering solutions and strategies for the validation of quality on personal computing devices. As part of the Surface Post Launch Engineering Design Validation Engineering team, you will be responsible for performing and leading technical debugging and problem isolation activities and designing and implementing automated solutions for validating new and existing features that ship on our products. You will need to become very familiar with multiple engineering systems and validation methodologies used across a breadth of technology areas such as firmware, power, performance, and kernel mode drivers. You will be required to have collaborative and leadership skills as a team player to work with peers, different technology teams, organizations, external companies and 3rd party engineering partners in order to realize our engineering, business, and customer satisfaction goals.
