About the position

At CertifID, we're on a mission to protect life's most significant transactions from fraud. We help title companies, law firms, lenders, and consumers safeguard billions of dollars from wire fraud daily. As we scale, we're building a team of growth-minded individuals passionate about protecting our customers and transforming the way sensitive data is secured. We're looking for an exceptional Senior Software Engineer to play a critical role in designing, building, and maintaining secure, scalable systems that power our fraud prevention platform. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact features, mentor junior engineers, and help shape the technical direction of our product.

Responsibilities

  • Design and build robust, scalable, secure user interfaces, services, and APIs.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers to deliver end-to-end solutions.
  • Lead technical discussions that build consensus and foster innovation and inclusion while keeping work flowing in a fast-paced environment.
  • Mentor and guide other engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning.
  • Take full ownership of your work-from concept to deployment and monitoring.
  • Make an impact by writing clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
  • Continuously improve system performance, reliability, and security.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a software engineer in a fast-paced, product-driven environment, usually with 5+ years of experience.
  • High degree of competency in C# and .NET (recent experience with current versions preferred).
  • Proven experience in front-end frameworks, working with Vue.js, React, Angular (similar frontend frameworks).
  • Preferred experience with Javascript and Typescript principles and best practices.
  • Preferred experience with CSS, SASS, A/B testing, CI/CD, Microservices architecture, Cloud Platforms.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills, valuing teamwork and effective knowledge sharing with technical and non-technical team members.
  • An impact player with a strong sense of ownership, who demonstrates craftsmanship, and enjoys collaboration and winning as a team.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in fintech, cybersecurity, or fraud prevention.
  • Familiarity with data platform tooling and optimization.
