Senior Software Engineer

About the position

We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer-Other - Intermediate to join our team in Jersey City, New Jersey. The ideal candidate will have proficiency in application development across multiple technologies and design techniques. This role requires a strong understanding of Agile methodologies, modern development practices, and proficiency in general-purpose programming languages. The candidate will be part of a development team responsible for delivering automation solutions for ETS Network.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve software using a variety of technologies.
• Collaborate with the team to deliver automation book of work for ETS Network.
• Apply Agile methodologies and work within common frameworks.
• Utilize techniques such as Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, Test-Driven Development, and Cloud Development.
• Ensure application resiliency and security throughout the development lifecycle.

Requirements

• Proficiency in one or more general-purpose programming languages.
• Working proficiency in software engineering disciplines, including business analysis, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
• Experience with React front-end development (Intermediate level 7-8).
• Expertise in Python development.
• Familiarity with network automation is preferred.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP and Java (Intermediate level 5-6).
