Senior Software Engineer (Remote)
About The Position
We are a mission-driven legal-tech startup dedicated to empowering individuals to seek compensation for corporate violations, such as data breaches and antitrust cases. Our platform has processed over 65,000 claims, with a projected recovery exceeding $75 million. Backed by a $3.6M seed round from prominent investors, we are building technology to make mass legal enforcement fast, fair, and accessible. As our second engineering hire, you will collaborate closely with our CTO to shape our engineering foundation and develop the AI engine that powers our platform. This is a unique opportunity to influence our processes, raise the quality bar, and help define how we scale.
Requirements
- 3–8 years of experience in full-stack software engineering with a track record of shipping products from 0 to 1.
- Proficiency in Go, React, AWS, DynamoDB, and Python.
- Experience working in a fully remote environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, mission-driven startup.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end projects, taking products from concept to production.
- Work across our stack—Go, React, AWS, DynamoDB, and Python—with a slight frontend lean.
- Collaborate with marketing, legal, and operations teams to design solutions that support growth.
- Improve user trust, enhance platform reliability, and optimize conversion rates.
- Influence our engineering culture and help define how we scale.
