Requirements

Have 5 years of experience in software engineering, systems engineering, technical integration roles or its equivalent.
Demonstrate deep production experience with Python, Java, Go, Bash, or SQL writing maintainable, testable systems-level code.
Hold active Secret clearance or ability to obtain one; Bachelor's degree or equivalent senior-level professional experience required.
Possess deep understanding of DNS, HTTP/S, TCP, and UDP within large-scale distributed cloud environments.
Exhibit hands-on experience designing and operating AWS infrastructure using infrastructure-as-code and configuration management tools.
Demonstrate proficiency with containers and orchestration platforms including Docker, Kubernetes, ECS, or similar systems.
Show tenacious ownership, communication, and ability to translate complex technical concepts across technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Leading resolution of complex service-impacting issues using deep troubleshooting, log analysis, and systems-level programming.
Designing and owning automated CI/CD pipelines supporting scalable software and infrastructure deployment across AWS environments.
Architecting automation frameworks reducing operational toil while improving reliability, scalability, and deployment safety.
Defining monitoring, alerting, and observability standards ensuring actionable signals and faster mean time to recovery.
Partnering across engineering, operations, and support teams to identify root causes and implement durable improvements.
Mentoring engineers and contributing to architectural decisions shaping broader platform and reliability standards.
