In this role, you will be instrumental in helping prospective customers tackle their business and logistics challenges by creating impactful solutions. The position connects customer operational needs with the partner company's technology by facilitating structured discovery sessions, designing scalable solutions, and demonstrating return on investment. Your influence will be key in steering executive decisions throughout the sales lifecycle. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supply chain or retail, be technically adept with SaaS integrations, and possess a consultative mindset to translate complex challenges into engaging narratives for both technical and executive audiences.

Requirements

  • 3–6+ years of experience in Solutions Consulting, Pre-Sales, or other customer-facing SaaS roles.
  • Experience in retail, logistics, transportation, or supply chain operations.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience supporting enterprise SaaS sales cycles.
  • Strong understanding of APIs, data mapping, and system integrations.
  • Ability to interpret technical documentation and translate it into business context.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel (including financial modeling and ROI analysis).
  • Strong executive presence and communication skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to turn operational data into actionable insights.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, intellectual curiosity, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with sales to lead discovery conversations across technical, operational, and executive stakeholders.
  • Uncover customer pain points related to transportation modes, order management, and operational inefficiencies.
  • Take a consultative approach to understand customer workflows, systems, data environments, and integration requirements.
  • Influence executive decision-makers through structured business cases and quantified outcomes.
  • Conduct Value Engineering Assessments to quantify ROI and deliver tailored narratives.
  • Build and deliver customized product demonstrations and executive presentations, virtually and in-person.
  • Lead technical validation discussions and identify integration risks during the pre-sale process.
  • Support responses to RFP, RFI, and Information Security questionnaires.
  • Develop clear Statements of Work (SOWs) outlining scope, assumptions, and implementation approach.
  • Ensure a seamless transition from Sales to Implementation by documenting business objectives and remaining engaged post-launch.
  • Translate customer and market feedback into actionable insights for Product teams.
  • Travel occasionally to represent the partner company in customer workshops and industry events.
