Support applications with an understanding of system integration, test planning, scripting, and troubleshooting. Assess the health and performance of software applications and databases. Establish, participate, and maintain relationships with departments and customers to remain informed of direction, project status, architectural and technology trends, risks, and functional/integration issues. Analyze program and application performance using multiple programming languages, tools and techniques. Identify opportunities to improve implementations for cost and execution efficiencies and show ownership You will report into the Software Development Director

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience.
  • 15+ years of experience in analysis, design, implementation and testing of Big Data Applications (API & Batch) on AWS Cloud using java/scala/kotlin, Kafka, Cassandra, Scylla, DDB, Python, Hadoop, HDFS, Spark, MapReduce framework
  • DevOps experience -GIT, GitHub, Bit Bucket, GitLab, IntelliJ IDEA, PyCharm
