About The Position

We’re looking for a talented and driven Senior Staff Technical Program Manager to join our team to drive the delivery of large-scaly and technically complex streaming client technology initiatives across our global streaming platforms, In this position, you will be responsible for leading cross-functional teams spanning multiple engineering organizations and client platforms, partnering with engineering, product, data, backend and business teams to deliver large-scale, high-impact initiatives within our streaming client applications. The right candidate is passionate about advancing the video streaming consumer experience and possesses a strong program management background, with a demonstrated ability to lead complex programs across multiple teams and drive alignment in highly ambiguous environments with competing priorities. The Senior Staff Technical Program Manager independently leads client platform strategy and complex engineering programs across multiple teams, driving execution and alignment across engineering, product, and partner organizations. Maturity, sound judgment, strong negotiation and influencing skills, deep experience with client application development processes (including release management, testing, and platform certification), analytical rigor, and a proven track record leading business-critical initiatives are essential to succeed in this role. The client TPM team is a dynamic and collaborative group dedicated to helping engineering teams thrive all while improving our overall Product. We work extremely closely with our Product Management partners to deliver high-impact features across streaming clients, focusing on scalability, reliability, retention, content discovery, compliance, content playback and overall user experience. Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience delivering complex technology programs across all phases of the program lifecycle, including initiation, planning, execution, tracking, and closure. Experience should demonstrate consistent delivery of high-quality software on schedule while coordinating internal and external dependencies.
  • Strong technical background with the ability to lead and participate in technical discussions with engineering teams and understand complex systems and architectural trade-offs.
  • Proven ability to lead ambiguous, high-impact programs with complex cross-team dependencies across client, backend, and product organizations.
  • Ability to define and structure complex technical and organizational problems, identify root causes, and develop clear program strategies that align engineering and product teams.
  • Ability to anticipate risks and issues before they materially impact delivery. When issues arise, ability to quantify impact, evaluate options, align stakeholders, and drive resolution.
  • Demonstrated ability to align program execution with broader organizational objectives and drive meaningful process improvements that improve delivery outcomes.
  • Proven success influencing teams and delivering positive outcomes even when teams are not under direct management, while building strong working relationships with Product Management, backend engineering teams, and other platform partners.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging and level of detail appropriately for technical teams, stakeholders, and executive audiences.
  • Experience mentoring or supporting other TPMs and contributing to improvements in program management practices and delivery standards across teams.
  • Experience working with client application development lifecycles, including release management, testing, and platform certification processes. Candidates should be comfortable validating functionality, reproducing issues, and supporting end-to-end testing across client and service integrations.

Responsibilities

  • Leading large-scale, cross-functional technology programs spanning multiple engineering teams and client platforms, ensuring alignment with strategic business objectives.
  • Defining and managing program structures and execution plans for complex initiatives while providing leadership to help teams adapt quickly to evolving priorities.
  • Driving cross-team coordination to manage dependencies across client teams, backend services, and partner organizations.
  • Partnering with engineering leadership to support technical architecture discussions and ensure scalable solutions across client platforms.
  • Working closely with Product Management to shape program execution, establish effective delivery frameworks, and maintain well-structured backlogs.
  • Maintaining strong communication channels with product, engineering, and leadership stakeholders across multiple organizations.
  • Providing clear program visibility and risk management to stakeholders, including senior leadership and executives.
  • Leading and coordinating cross-functional teams to drive alignment, resolve blockers, and ensure successful delivery of complex initiatives.
