About The Position

We are looking for a Senior Strategy Analyst to partner with senior leaders on high-impact data and technology efforts for a leading financial services client. The role sits at the crossroads of business strategy, data, and technology, with an emphasis on shaping executive-level strategy and decision-support content. You will act as a trusted thought partner to senior stakeholders—bringing structure to ambiguous challenges, synthesizing complex inputs, and converting analysis into clear recommendations and leadership-ready narratives. While the position is heavily strategy- and presentation-focused, a strong foundation in data, data architecture, and modern technology platforms is critical to ensure rigor, credibility, and substance behind the story. This role is fully onsite in McLean, VA.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience developing executive-level strategy or decision-support presentations
  • Strong analytical and structuring skills, with comfort operating in uncertain or evolving environments
  • Working knowledge of data, technology, and modern data platforms sufficient to engage credibly with technical teams
  • Experience supporting data, digital, or technology transformation initiatives
  • Advanced PowerPoint capabilities with a strong eye for structure, clarity, and storytelling
  • Willingness to work onsite in McLean, VA, five days per week

Responsibilities

  • Create polished, executive-ready PowerPoint materials to support strategic decision-making and leadership discussions
  • Break down complex, ambiguous problems into clear hypotheses, insights, and recommended actions
  • Translate data and technology initiatives into compelling, business-focused narratives
  • Partner with senior stakeholders to define strategic options, roadmaps, and trade-offs
  • Apply data and technology fluency to test assumptions and inform strategic direction
  • Perform targeted analyses to support prioritization, sequencing, and investment decisions
  • Distill inputs from data, engineering, and delivery teams into concise, leadership-appropriate materials
  • Work closely with program leaders and subject-matter experts to ensure accuracy and alignment
  • Enable executive conversations through clear articulation of insights, implications, and next steps
