About The Position

Collins Aerospace is hiring a Senior Facility Supervisor to manage a 268,000 sq. ft. building supporting our Interior's seating division. This role partners closely with site leadership, EH&S, and operations managers to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient facility operations. The Senior Facility Supervisor will lead a team of technicians in a unionized environment, drive preventive maintenance strategies, and oversee contractor and renovation projects to support business continuity and operational excellence. This is a first shift position and may require occasional support on Saturdays. This role may be eligible for relocation.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the company’s immigration sponsorship now or in the future.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supervising in a unionized environment, including knowledge of contractual work rules and grievance procedures.
  • Proficiency with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) for tracking and managing work orders and BMS (Building Management System)
  • Experience overseeing contractor-led renovation or repair projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize competing demands in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • SAP Knowledge of security systems.

Responsibilities

  • Lead & Develop a Union Workforce: Administer the collective bargaining agreement (CBA), manage grievances, oversee time sheets and overtime equalization rosters, and conduct performance evaluations while coaching and developing technicians.
  • Direct Maintenance Operations: Schedule and oversee preventive maintenance and emergency repairs across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, security, and security systems.
  • Ensure Safety & Compliance: Maintain compliance with safety regulations (Lock Out Tag Out), building codes, and quality standards; conduct inspections to ensure work is performed safely and effectively.
  • Manage Daily Operations: Review and prioritize maintenance requests, allocate resources across multiple projects, and ensure timely completion of work orders.
  • Oversee Projects & Vendors: Coordinate and inspect contractor work, including renovation and repair projects, ensuring adherence to scope, budget, and timelines.
  • Administrative & Purchasing Support: Process work orders, maintain inventory, and procure tools and materials as needed.
