About The Position

The Senior Supervisor, Inventory Logistics will lead a team of 25 direct reports within the collective bargaining unit on 3rd shift. This position is for 3rd shift which will work Sunday 11:30pm – Friday 7:30am with overtime as business needs dictate. Training will be on 1st shift 7am -3pm for approximately 4 weeks.
Requirements
- Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience
Nice To Haves
- Prior Logistics, and/or warehouse experience
- Supervisory experience
- SAP knowledge
Responsibilities
- Guide materials management and logistics activities to ensure materials are effectively stocked and deployed
- Supervise the training of direct reports to ensure policies, practices and procedures are understood and followed
- Implement and monitor inventory control systems to ensure effective logistics deployment
- Audit Inventory levels to ensure availability of materials
- Troubleshoot and reconcile large discrepancies to ensure compliance of standards, effective material management, and smooth logistics deployment
