About The Position

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Supply Chain Senior Manager to lead and optimize our Procurement, Delivery Assurance, and Supplier Quality functions. This role is critical to ensuring the seamless flow of materials and components from a global supplier base, meeting stringent AS9100 and customer requirements, and supporting our high-performance aerospace manufacturing operations.

Requirements

Must be a “U.S. Person” as defined by the U.S. Government and able to work without restrictions with ITAR related data
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business or other related field
8+ years of progressive Supply Chain experience in Aerospace Manufacturing
Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with all levels of the organization
Ability to interpret policies, procedures, and standard business practices
Ability to initiate, record, recommend, verify, and implement corrective actions or solutions to problems relating to product, process or quality system.
Must have strong attention to detail
Ability to travel domestically; 25%

Nice To Haves

Masters in Business Administration preferred
Deep knowledge of AS9100, FAA/EASA regulations, and other aerospace compliance standards.
Proven experience managing complex supplier networks, global sourcing, and performance-based supplier relationships.
Strong analytical, negotiation, and project management skills.
Proficient in ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle), MS Office, and supply chain analytics tools.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute sourcing strategies to ensure cost-effective and timely procurement of materials, components, and services.
Negotiate and manage long-term supplier agreements, pricing, and contract terms.
Collaborate with Engineering, Production, and Quality to align procurement activities with program and customer requirements.
Identify and qualify new suppliers to support business growth and mitigate risk.
Drive on-time delivery (OTD) performance across the supply base through robust planning, monitoring, and escalation processes.
Implement supplier capacity and capability assessments to mitigate delivery risk.
Collaborate with suppliers to resolve delivery delays, expedite critical materials, and recover schedule adherence.
Utilize KPIs and dashboards to monitor performance and report to senior leadership.
Implement a supplier portal system and ensure supplier deliveries meet, and do not exceed, our orders.
Lead the Supplier Quality team to ensure supplier conformance to specifications, regulatory requirements, and AS9100 standards.
Oversee supplier audits, PPAP/FAI submissions, corrective actions (SCARs), and root cause analysis.
Implement a risk-based approach to supplier quality management and continuous improvement.
Support product and process qualifications and approvals
Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing cross-functional team.
Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and customers.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and other best practices.
Contribute to the strategic direction of the supply chain function aligned with business goals.
Implement and develop robust HAU supply chain processes and systems.
Lead monthly Scrum meetings to ensure integration of supply chain functions with shop/general manager operations.
Plan and execute appropriate supply chain strategies to support organizational goals for cost control and lead-time reduction
Works closely with all departments to meet delivery schedules, including production, new product development, customer service and quality.
Maximize cost savings through the negotiation of Long Term Agreements and VMI Programs
Lead and/or participate in RIEs (Rapid Improvement Events) as appropriate / applicable
Maintain a safe working environment by compliance with state and federal safety regulations. Enforces and promotes workplace safety procedures in their departments
