About The Position

This role offers the opportunity to lead and enhance enterprise procurement systems that support global operations. You will oversee the roadmap, governance, and day-to-day management of critical procurement platforms, ensuring reliability, security, and compliance. Partnering with stakeholders across Procurement, Finance, IT, and vendors, you will translate business strategy into system capabilities and deliver scalable solutions. The position requires hands-on platform ownership, from upgrades and integrations to documentation and change management. You will also support audit readiness, compliance adherence, and continuous improvement initiatives. This is a high-impact, collaborative role where your work directly shapes the efficiency and effectiveness of procurement processes worldwide.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • 8+ years managing enterprise applications in complex environments; 5+ years focused on procurement systems (Jaggaer, SAP MM/SRM/Ariba).
  • Proven experience in platform ownership, including roadmaps, governance, and delivery of enhancements/integrations.
  • Hands-on experience in regulated environments with audit/inspection readiness.
  • Strong ITIL/ITSM knowledge and expertise in data integrity, access/security, and vendor coordination.
  • Excellent problem-solving, stakeholder management, and executive-level communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree, ITIL certifications, PMP/PRINCE2/Scrum Master, or procurement system administration certificates are a plus.
  • Familiarity with SOX controls, SOD, and compliance frameworks is desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the roadmap, governance, and operational excellence of enterprise procurement systems (e.g., Jaggaer, SAP).
  • Serve as the primary contact and escalation point for procurement platforms, partnering with Finance, IT Ops, Cybersecurity, QA, and vendors.
  • Monitor system performance, manage incidents and problems, and implement preventative measures.
  • Define configuration standards, maintain data integrity, and ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks (cGMP, ISO, GxP/GAMP5).
  • Assess vendor releases, conduct impact analysis, and manage global deployments with proper documentation.
  • Lead requirements elicitation, solution design, configuration, and testing for enhancements and integrations.
  • Author and maintain SOPs, work instructions, runbooks, and training materials to enable first-level support.
  • Champion ITIL practices, track KPIs/SLAs, and drive continual service improvement.
  • Oversee CSV activities, support audits, and maintain risk registers related to procurement systems.
  • Lead small-to-medium projects and contribute to larger programs using Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches.
