We are seeking a Senior Systems Administrator to ensure the stability, security, and performance of our IT infrastructure in a manufacturing-first, compliance-driven environment. This role directly supports production operations and critical business systems where uptime is essential. The position includes hands-on administration of Microsoft environments and requires participation in limited on-call and after-hours support. This position is full-time, onsite, Monday through Friday.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent senior-level experience
  • Significant systems administration experience in manufacturing or industrial environments
  • Experience working in regulated, compliance-driven settings (IPO, SOX, or similar)
  • Strong Microsoft administration experience, including Office 365 GCC High
  • Experience supporting ERP systems and manufacturing business software (Macola, Synergy)
  • Advanced knowledge of Windows servers, networking, virtualization, and security
  • Ability to work calmly and decisively in high-pressure, production-critical situations
  • Willingness and availability to provide on-call and after-hours support

Responsibilities

  • Administer and secure the Office 365 GCC High environment, ensuring compliance and operational continuity
  • Provide senior-level support for ERP (Macola) and Business Process Software (Synergy) supporting manufacturing operations
  • Design, maintain, and optimize servers, systems, and network infrastructure with a focus on uptime and reliability
  • Administer and support Microsoft products including permissions, security controls, and user support
  • Ensure infrastructure and all associated technology meets IPO/SOX, audit, and regulatory requirements
  • Serve as the primary escalation point for production-impacting or high-severity incidents
  • Troubleshoot and resolve critical system and application issues with urgency to minimize downtime
  • Participate in on-call rotations and perform after-hours maintenance, upgrades, and emergency support when needed
  • Oversee and guide desktop and helpdesk support, meeting standards for responsiveness and documentation
  • Establish and enforce best practices for system security, backups, disaster recovery, and incident response in a regulated manufacturing environment
  • Maintain system documentation, incident reports, and root-cause analyses
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with users across manufacturing, corporate, and executive teams, adapting communication style as needed
