About The Position

TACG is seeking a Senior Systems Analyst to support operations in Dayton, Ohio. This role is responsible for applying advanced analytical processes to the planning, design, development, and implementation of new and enhanced web-based information systems that support customer business requirements. The Senior Systems Analyst serves as a technical and functional liaison between stakeholders and development teams, ensuring IT solutions are secure, integrated, cost-effective, and aligned with mission objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (required)
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate complex systems and propose effective technical solutions
  • Knowledge of software development methodologies and IT infrastructure principles
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
  • Experience conducting cost-benefit and feasibility analyses
  • Understanding of systems integration principles across hardware, software, databases, and operational procedures
  • Familiarity with information security and compliance frameworks
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to present technical information to non-technical stakeholders
  • High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

Nice To Haves

  • Relevant professional certifications (e.g., PMP, ITIL, Security+, CISSP) are a plus
  • Experience supporting Air Force systems and/or Foreign Military Sales (FMS) programs preferred

Responsibilities

  • Analyze business processes and current systems to identify gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Conduct needs assessments and consult with stakeholders to define functional and technical requirements.
  • Develop comprehensive system requirements documentation, specifications, and business cases.
  • Lead or support business process reengineering initiatives.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and trade-off analyses for proposed IT solutions.
  • Define system scope, objectives, and integration requirements across procedures, databases, policies, software, and hardware components.
  • Develop cost estimates for new or modified systems.
  • Oversee and coordinate system design, development, and implementation activities.
  • Collaborate with project managers, developers, and cross-functional IT teams to ensure successful execution.
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement enhancements to optimize functionality and user experience.
  • Plan and coordinate system implementation activities, including testing and deployment.
  • Ensure rigorous application of information security and information assurance policies throughout the systems analysis lifecycle.
  • Create and maintain detailed documentation, including requirements, process flows, system designs, and user guides.
