Senior Systems Engineer – Autonomous Maritime Platforms
About The Position
As a Senior Systems Engineer for the Autonomous Maritime Platforms Business, you’ll be a member of a highly skilled cross functional team responsible for the development, implementation, and testing of advanced autonomous systems. We are looking for a dynamic individual with Unmanned Underwater Vehicle (UUV) experience to contribute to design and test of various systems with the aspirations of becoming a team lead within the organization. We encourage you to apply if you have any of these preferred skills or experiences: Strong background in the Undersea Domain and Systems engineer process, concepts, and principles System / Sub-System Integration, Test, and Evaluation; Offshore in-water testing experience preferred Requirements analysis, definition, management, validation and verification, test procedure creation and execution Generation of technical engineer design products through use of applicable standards, best practices, and tools throughout the systems development life cycle. Requirements
- Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering, Technology or Mathematics field.
- 2+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree and 6 months of job-related experience.
- Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire.
- Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
- Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.
Nice To Haves
