Our work depends on a Senior Systems Engineer joining our team to support a GDIT program that we are the prime and is located at Annapolis Junction, MD. You will have the opportunity to “modernize your skillsets” in a “dynamic team environment” by working with “cutting-edge technologies” to include AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, Kafka, Microservices, Cassandra, Java 25, Spring Boot/Cloud/Data, etc.
Requirements
- The position requires an active TS/SCI with Polygraph.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or a related technical discipline from an accredited college/university
- Requires 15+ years of related experience
- Familiarity with AWS, Kubernetes, and Linux
- US Citizenship Required
Nice To Haves
- Expert level knowledge in data orchestration
- Senior experience working within the IC and DoD community
Responsibilities
- Opportunity to lead and provide ongoing development, maintenance, support, and software enhancements for production user facing applications
- Provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Work alongside other engineers on the team to sustain and advance our organization’s capabilities.
- Maintain and upgrade the Kubernetes clusters on the systems.
- Continuous monitoring of all systems.
