About The Position

Senior Systems Integration Certification Engineer Company: The Boeing Company Boeing is seeking a Senior Systems Integration Certification Engineer to lead regulatory and airworthiness compliance activities for the Systems Integration team on the 777-9 program. The Systems Integration Certification team works closely with systems focals, equipment managers, and other stakeholders to drive integration and execution on key deliverables to enable certification testing and readiness for program milestones. This role will play an exciting part in helping achieve 777-9 type certification by leading preparation and submission of certification artifacts, shaping certification strategy, and coordinating cross-functional activities to demonstrate airworthiness. Position Overview: Prepare certification documents and artifacts for submission to Regulatory Administration and FAA stakeholders; ensure artifacts are complete, traceable, and aligned to applicable requirements. Lead collaboration with internal and external stakeholders (including system focals, equipment managers, ALIT, RegAdmin, and program IPTs) to define artifacts, validate compliance, and document airworthiness and regulatory compliance Collaborate with system focals and equipment managers to compile certification documents required to achieve program milestones and achieve type certification. Integrate cross-functionally within the Systems IPT and with stakeholders across the program to define framework, strategy, criteria, and content to satisfy regulatory guidance and achieve certification milestones. Review regulatory requirements and evaluate impacts to products and schedules Lead development of compliance documents and other artifacts that establish airworthiness and safety Lead a team of individual contributors: coordinate daily work, communicate status and help needed, align priorities to key milestones, and articulate constraints and resource needs as they arise.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
  • 9+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 5+ years of experience in aerospace certification, regulatory compliance, or systems integration with progressively increasing responsibility.
  • Demonstrated experience preparing certification documents and artifacts for submission to regulatory authorities (FAA and/or equivalent), and ensuring those artifacts meet regulatory expectations.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration and communication skills
  • Experience reviewing regulatory and customer requirements and evaluating impacts to products, systems, and services
  • Experience leading and coordinating the day-to-day work of individual contributors
  • Strong technical writing, problem-solving, and communication skills; demonstrated ability to present technical positions to leadership

Nice To Haves

  • Master's degree in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
  • Familiarity with FAA, EASA, and other international regulatory frameworks, advisory material, and airworthiness standards
  • Experience leading certification efforts for integrated systems (avionics, flight controls, propulsion, mission systems) across large-scale programs
  • Experience working in a global regulatory environment and leading cross-cultural teams
  • Experience using compliance management tools and document control systems to compile and track certification artifacts
