  • Knowledge of DevSecOps pipelines, containerization, virtual machines, Linux development environments, and QA processes.
  • Experience with DoD compliance, ATO/CTF processes, eMASS/RMF workflows, and NIPR/SIPR networks.

Nice To Haves

  • Air Force Life Cycle Management (AFLCMC) experience.
  • Experience with Zero Trust Architecture and cybersecurity frameworks.
  • Relevant certifications (CompTIA Security+, DoD acquisition or PM certifications, PMP, DAWIA).
  • Military background as mid-to-senior grade officer (O-4 to O-6) a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Provide systems engineering leadership and technical direction for DoD programs.
  • Evaluate technical approaches, requirements, and risk assessments in collaboration with IPT leads.
  • Support frontend and backend web development, including deployment to web servers.

  • Conduct engineering reviews, milestone assessments, and technical documentation to meet DoD standards.
  • Deliver technical briefings, reports, and acquisition support to senior leadership.
  • Advise program leadership on solutions balancing cost, schedule, and performance objectives.
  • Identify and mitigate technical risks in contract execution and quality assurance.
  • Integrate engineering expertise into lifecycle sustainment, risk management, and system development.
