About The Position

The Sr Talent Acquisition Specialist leads full-cycle recruiting efforts to attract high-quality talent across the organization. This role partners closely with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, develop sourcing strategies, and deliver an exceptional candidate experience. The role also supports employer branding initiatives and continuous process improvement. The Specialist leverages labor market expertise and data insights to inform hiring decisions. This position plays an essential part in building a strong, inclusive workforce that supports organizational goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field (Required)
  • 10+ years of full-cycle, high volume, recruiting experience (Required)
  • Experience recruiting for technical, professional, or specialized roles (Required)
  • Experience supporting hiring managers and leaders (Required)
  • Experience using ATS platforms and HRIS systems (Required)

Nice To Haves

  • SHRM-CP, PHR, or Talent Acquisition–related certification (Preferred)
  • Additional HR or recruiting certifications (Preferred)
  • Experience recruiting in construction industry (Preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Lead full-cycle recruitment for professional, technical, and hard-to-fill positions.
  • Partner with hiring managers to define job requirements, develop sourcing strategies, and guide selection decisions.
  • Proactively source and engage top talent through job boards, social platforms, networking, and industry partnerships.
  • Manage and optimize the applicant tracking system (ATS), ensuring accurate documentation and compliance.
  • Conduct screening interviews, evaluate candidate qualifications, facilitate interview processes, and schedule pre-employment and development assessments.
  • Build and maintain a robust talent pipeline for future workforce needs.
  • Provide data-driven insights, including recruiting metrics and labor market trends, to improve hiring outcomes to Director of Humans Resource and Leadership.
  • Represent the organization at career fairs, recruitment events including college recruiting programs. Manage campus engagement and university relationships.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and internal policies.
  • Support continuous improvement of TA processes and tools by leading and supporting strategic initiatives and programs related to talent acquisition, development and retention as they arise.
