GENERAL PURPOSE: Responsible for the quality and effectiveness of the talent acquisition process by assisting in developing strategies to identify, attract, and hire high quality employees. Includes setting the Agency direction of talent acquisition along with all aspects of recruiting, interviewing, compensation, relocation, placement, and/or transfer of employees at all levels. Builds effective relationships with all levels of candidates and staff to ensure a diverse, equitable, efficient and successful recruitment process. Maintains a passionate commitment to providing a candidate, panelist and hiring manager experience that exceeds expectations. Consults with management in developing and maintaining a strategic master staffing plan for assigned departments and supports the overall strategic mission of the Agency. Develops diverse network of community and industry contacts for sourcing and retention purposes. Presents positive image of Sound Transit while promoting its mission, vision, and values.
