The Senior/Principal Technical Support Engineer will ensure successful operation of development, test and production systems of client. The system is a security and data management platform. The engineer will work with a senior tech. support manager under a shift-based system and follow a plan of tasks that are assigned during the shift. Must have the ability to effectively communicate as well as manage and define risk strategies to ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope. The individual should have experience and a high-level knowledge of Enterprise IT infrastructure and services such as compute (O/S, Applications, infrastructure, networking, storage (SAN, NAS, backup, archiving). The individual should be very comfortable with a Linux based, Oracle DB enterprise system. Candidate for this position will have demonstrated experience in operating large IT Infrastructure scale projects successfully. This position requires excellent IT technical knowledge of Linux, Oracle, PL/SQL, bash scripting, perl scripting.
