About The Position

The Senior Technical Analyst serves as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for all technical aspects. This role involves high-level software engineering, cloud migration design, and supporting the migration from PowerBuilder to Pega.

Requirements

• Certification: System Architect in Pega 7 (or newer).
• At least three years of experience in each of the following areas:
• Supporting environmental IT projects in the public sector.
• Client/server and web applications.
• Sybase PowerBuilder and Sybase PowerDesigner.
• Java Transaction Access Program (jTAP), Java, JavaScript, and AJAX.
• Oracle Databases (developing PL/SQL procedures, functions, packages, triggers).
• Atlassian’s JIRA Project Management Software.
• Managing/executing IT projects using Agile methodologies.
• Experience designing and implementing Cloud-based infrastructures and migrating non-cloud systems to the cloud.
• Experience in Business Objects (v4.2 or newer) and Tableau (v2019.1.4 or newer) development.
• Experience designing/implementing GIS interfaces and integrations with Pega workflows.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience with the client systems (NJEMS, RSP, OPRATS, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Serve as technical SME for maintenance and support efforts.
• Provide technical expertise for requirements definition and design processes.
• Apply software engineering skills to develop new or enhanced software components.
• Provide on-call technical support to the client staff (8:30 AM – 5:00 PM EST, Monday–Friday).
• Monitor Client’s bug-tracking system daily to address verified bugs timely.
