Job Description: Senior Technical Engineering Program Manager Reliability Engineering, HPE Networking Location (HYBRID): Roseville, CA We are seeking an experienced Technical Engineering Program Manager to report to the Head of Reliability Engineering for HPE Networking. The successful candidate will: Lead technical program management activities focused on hardware reliability. Analyze field quality data and metrics (including annualized failure rates, AFR) to identify products trending negatively and prioritize investigations. Partner with R&D lab architects and designers to evaluate hardware failure modes, drive root-cause analysis, and ensure timely corrective actions. Apply strong knowledge of networking products, development lifecycles, components, materials, and industry quality best practices and terminology. Communicate clearly with diverse audiences, including executives, to report status, proposed actions, and resolution of product-quality issues. Translate engineering discussions into logical action plans and manage those plans from initiation through closure. Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., TAC) and external repair facilities to refine processes and ensure field and repair data are accurate, consistent, and actionable. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Management, Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 8 years of technical program management experience
  • Extensive technical program management experience, proven ability to manage cross-functional reliability investigations, and strong communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and coordinate cross-functional reliability investigations
  • Using project planning tools and software packages to create, manage, and track project results.
  • Demonstrated experience coordinating and directing matrixed teams and resources.
  • Ability to create and manage program schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
  • Ability to effectively communicate program plans, proposals, and results, and negotiate options at management levels.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English and local language.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
