About The Position

Infineon Technologies Americas Corp. is seeking a Senior Test Engineer (San Jose, CA) to develop Automatic Test Equipment (ATE) for cutting edge mixed-signal and RF devices. Design and Develop ATE hardware. Develop test plans with cross functional design teams to optimize test coverage. Reduce test time, increase site count/throughput, and enhance yield to lower the cost of tests. Work with bench/design teams to bring up and correlate on ATE. Develop and use ATE test programs and hardware, including product characterization and device/wafer level tests for system-on-chip products. Local telecommuting permitted up to 2 days per week.

Requirements

Requires a Bachelor’s Degree (or foreign equivalent) in Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering or a related field.
Must have experience or coursework in: C, C++, Java & automation scripting (PERL, PYTHON, or MATLAB)
Utilizing different device protocols (I2C, JTAG, SDIO, etc.) to communicate with device
Digital and Analog signal processing
Schematic design circuits
Creating test plans and coverage to meet product datasheet requirement
Working with tools like multi-meter, Oscilloscope, Power Supply, Function Generator.
