About The Position

CGI has an immediate need for a Senior UAT Analyst to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced team environment supporting one of the largest customers. We partner with 15 of the top 20 banks globally, and our top 10 banking clients have worked with us for an average of 26 years! This role is located at a client site in Reston, VA. A hybrid working model is acceptable. We are seeking an experienced Senior UAT Analyst to support software delivery initiatives through strong business analysis, documentation, and user acceptance testing (UAT) practices. This role bridges business and technology teams, ensuring requirements are clearly defined, testable, and aligned to business objectives. We are seeking an experienced Senior UAT Analyst to support software delivery initiatives through strong business analysis, documentation, and user acceptance testing (UAT) practices. This role bridges business and technology teams, ensuring requirements are clearly defined, testable, and aligned to business objectives. The ideal candidate will play a hands-on role in writing and refining user stories, managing test plans and executions in Jira and Xray, supporting defect triage, and ensuring traceability from requirements through production release. You will collaborate closely with Product Owners, SMEs, QA, and Engineering teams to drive high-quality releases across staging, UAT, and production environments. This position requires strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies, and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced delivery environment.

Requirements

  • 5+ years hands-on experience with Jira (user stories, workflows, defect management)
  • Proven expertise with Xray test management (test plans, executions, requirement traceability)
  • Ability to write detailed Epics, Features, and User Stories with clear acceptance criteria
  • Experience building advanced JQL filters and dashboards for reporting and status tracking
  • Solid background in UAT, Business Testing, and Manual QA practices
  • Understanding of SDLC/STLC processes and full defect lifecycle management
  • Experience creating and maintaining UAT scenarios, test cases, and audit-ready documentation
  • Strong documentation skills (BRDs, release notes, user guides)
  • Proficiency with SQL for system analysis and data validation
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities
  • Comfortable working in Agile/Scrum environments with sprint-based delivery
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across technical and business teams
  • Experience with Salesforce-based applications
  • Proficiency in Excel, Tableau, or similar analytical/reporting tools
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting sprint and release deadlines
  • Experience in housing finance, mortgage, credit risk, loan servicing, or other regulated financial services environments
  • Familiarity with release management processes, including Go/No-Go decision frameworks
