CGI has an immediate need for a Senior UI/UX Designer to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced team environment supporting one of the largest customers. We take an innovative approach to supporting our client, working side-by-side in an agile environment using emerging technologies. This role is located at a client site in Reston, VA or Washington, DC. A hybrid working model is acceptable. We partner with 15 of the top 20 banks globally, and our top 10 banking clients have worked with us for an average of 26 years!

  • Shape user-centered digital experiences that are visually compelling and functionally effective.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into intuitive design solutions.
  • Create wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes to communicate design concepts.
  • Conduct and apply insights from user research, including interviews, surveys, and usability testing.
  • Maintain design systems and component libraries for consistency.
  • Strong proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar platforms.
  • Deep understanding of UX principles, design thinking, and user-centered design methodologies.
  • Experience designing for responsive web and mobile interfaces, with attention to accessibility standards (WCAG).
  • Ability to conduct and apply insights from user research.
  • Comfortable working in collaborative environments, partnering with product managers, developers, and stakeholders.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to present and explain design decisions clearly.
  • Experience with front-end development (HTML/CSS/JavaScript).
  • Prior experience working in Agile product teams.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of professional experience in UI/UX design, preferably in enterprise or product-driven environments.
  • Relevant certifications in UX/UI Design or Design Thinking are a plus.
