About The Position

Worth AI is looking for a Senior UI/UX Designer to own and elevate the visual and interactive experience of our industry-leading onboarding and underwriting workflow automation platform. At Worth, we are on a mission to modernize how institutions verify, onboard, and underwrite SMBs. This is a role for a designer who thrives at the intersection of complex data and elegant simplicity. You aren’t just creating mockups; you are building the interfaces that banks, credit unions, and enterprises use to make multi-million dollar decisions. You will be a champion for the user, an architect of our design system, and a strategic partner to our engineering and product teams. The Style of the Role This is not a "head-in-the-clouds" creative role. Worth AI values Extreme Ownership. Requirements

6+ years of UI/UX design experience, preferably in Fintech, SaaS, or AI-driven platforms.
3+ years in a high-growth startup environment as a primary driver of design strategy; you possess a "no-ego" approach to feedback, the ability to ship high-quality work under tight deadlines with minimal oversight, and a relentless drive to deliver quality with care.
Expert-level proficiency in Figma (auto-layout, components, variables) and prototyping tools.
Proven experience building and maintaining comprehensive design systems that scale.
A deep understanding of user-centered design principles and the ability to balance business goals with user needs.
A strong portfolio demonstrating your ability to solve complex workflow problems through clean, modern, and accessible design.
Exceptional storytelling skills—you can articulate the "why" behind your design decisions to stakeholders and executives.

Responsibilities

End-to-End Ownership: Lead the design process from initial discovery and user research to high-fidelity wireframes and interactive prototypes.
Scalable Design Systems: Lead the evolution of our design system by building a reusable, modular component library that empowers developers to move faster and ensures a consistent, high-quality experience for customers.
Data Visualization: Transform complex AI-driven data, risk models, and "The Worth Score®" into intuitive, actionable dashboards.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Product Managers and Engineers to ensure designs are technically feasible and aligned with our aggressive growth goals.
User Advocacy: Conduct usability testing and gather insights to deeply understand the pain points of financial institutions and SMBs, translating them into delightful features.
