About the position
Azra Games is seeking a Senior UX/UI Designer with a passion for crafting intuitive immersive and elegant interfaces for mobile RPG experiences. As a key member of our game development team you will play a pivotal role in shaping the player's journey from onboarding to late-game systems through thoughtful user-centered design. This position is ideal for a UX/UI expert who thrives in fast-paced collaborative environments and has a deep understanding of RPG systems especially on mobile platforms.
Responsibilities
- Design prototype and document UX flows wireframes and UI screens for core gameplay progression systems menus and live ops features
- Translate game mechanics complex RPG systems such as character growth gear and skill trees and monetization features into elegant and understandable UI/UX solutions
- Work closely with Game Designers Product Managers Artists and Engineers to ensure designs are both creative and technically feasible
- Conduct usability testing and iterate on designs based on feedback KPIs and player data
- Create and maintain a comprehensive UI style guide and interaction library for consistency across the game
- Advocate for player experience and accessibility throughout the development cycle
Requirements
- 5 or more years of experience as a UX/UI Designer in the games industry
- Shipped at least one mobile game ideally in a live environment
- Proven expertise working on RPG titles with a strong understanding of progression systems player retention loops and interface challenges unique to the genre
- Strong portfolio demonstrating UX flows UI designs and interaction systems preferably from RPG or character-driven games
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma Adobe XD or similar
- Excellent communication and cross-discipline collaboration skills
Nice-to-haves
- Experience designing for Character Collector RPGs such as Hero-based or Gacha systems
- Familiarity with implementing UI in Unity including Canvas system Prefabs and Animation
- Deep understanding of mobile UI constraints and best practices
- A passion for mobile gaming and an eye for player psychology and behavior patterns
