About the position
Tennr is a NYC-based tech company that launched out of Y-Combinator and is backed by Lightspeed Venture Partners, Andreessen Horowitz, Foundation Capital, The New Normal Fund, and other top investors. The company has developed RaeLLM™, a technology designed to streamline the referral process in healthcare by reading complex documents and facilitating communication between doctors and patients. This role involves working closely with Product and Design Leaders to create efficient and aesthetically pleasing user experiences, while also driving architectural decisions for a complex React application.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with Product and Design Leaders to build performant and beautiful experiences for our users
- Empathize with multiple user personas to channel their perspectives into building product surfaces
- Drive architecture decisions for our complex React app
- Take ownership over visual quality, executing pixel-perfect designs with precision
- Embrace a founder's mindset, proactively driving projects from conception to completion
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in UI/UX engineering, front-end development, or full-stack development
- Strong focus on JavaScript and familiarity with React and TypeScript
- Strong knowledge of front-end performance optimizations and accessibility principles
- Proven track record of building and maintaining scalable web applications
- Passion for great design and user experience
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a knack for efficient, clean coding practices
- Outstanding communication skills, capable of articulating complex technical concepts to a diverse audience
- A team player who thrives in collaborative environments
Nice-to-haves
- Experience utilizing AI tools for prototyping, efficiency, etc.
- Prior experience in a startup or fast-paced tech environment
