The Engineering function is responsible for all engineering activities within a firm to ensure that business objectives are met. Includes the creation, development, design, and improvement of products, equipment, facilities, services, standards, and procedures in all engineering fields. The Software Engineering area is responsible for the development of computer programming systems and applications including the design, coding, testing and deployment of products and solutions to meet firm obligations. Role Knowledge and Application Complete knowledge and full understanding of area of specialization, principles and practices within a professional discipline. Assesses unusual circumstances and uses sophisticated analytical and problem solving techniques to identify cause. Resolves and assesses a wide range of issues in creative ways and suggests variations in approach. Uses evaluation, judgment, and interpretation to select right course of action. This job is the fully qualified, experienced professional, journey-level position. Complexity and Problem-Solving Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of information requires evaluation of identifiable factors. Devises solutions based on limited information and precedent and adapts existing approaches to resolve issues. Uses evaluation, judgment, and interpretation to select right course of action. Supervision Work is done independently and is reviewed at critical points. Collaboration and Interaction Enhances relationships and networks with senior internal/external partners who are not familiar with the subject matter often requiring persuasion. Adapts style to differing audiences and often advises others on difficult matters. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of related design experience, or Master’s degree with 3+ years of related design experience, or equivalent practical experience
  • Experience working in a UX/UI practitioner role within agile product teams
  • Experience designing responsive web and mobile applications
  • Proficiency with modern wireframing, UI, and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD)
  • Experience identifying user research needs and conducting formal or informal usability studies to inform and validate designs
  • Demonstrated ability to incorporate feedback from users, internal stakeholders, and external customers
  • Ability to integrate best practices, data, and available research to inform design decisions
  • Experience working across both B2C and B2B product environments
  • Experience building, growing, and/or implementing a design system
  • Effective communicator and cross-functional collaborator

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with WCAG accessibility standards and inclusive design practices
  • Experience designing internal tools or SaaS platform products
  • Experience with data visualization and dashboard design
  • Working knowledge of HTML and CSS for design feasibility and handoff
  • Experience using Figma collaboratively in a team environment
