This role sets the strategic direction for one of Circana’s strongest relationships—Walmart US—shaping growth through insight, innovation, and influence. You’ll lead and develop a high-performing team while balancing client needs, evolving market dynamics, and accountability to deliver measurable impact. You’ll unlock opportunities for Circana’s full suite of capabilities and thought leadership across Walmart’s organization. Success in this role means building deep, multi-level client partnerships, influencing cross-functionally, and scaling impact through talent, technology, and collaboration.

Requirements

  • 15 + years of progressive business experience with a strong understanding of retail industry issues having worked in one or more of the environments below:
  • Retailer (any channel)
  • Consumer Packaged Goods
  • SaaS platforms
  • Management or technology consulting
  • Track record of revenue attainment and expense management
  • Demonstrated success developing and executing client relationship strategies, including engaging senior executives across a broad range of Retail issues and architecting business proposals.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with an impactful executive presence; able to convey technical content and analytics in compelling ways to all audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the team and retail leadership to set the strategic direction for our partnership with Walmart US.
  • Lead a large, diversely skilled team , including continually assessing the fit between the individuals, team structure, client needs, and company objectives.
  • Create an environment where the team has a commercial mindset , and the client has an awareness and openness to obtain our full set of capabilities.
  • Budget, forecast, and achieve financial targets – revenue and expense.
  • Create client partnership at multiple levels in their hierarchy and across multiple functions.
  • Influence internally, cross-functionally and at multiple levels.
  • Develop the skills of the team , with a focus on developing direct reports and ensuring the team is at the forefront of using AI and other proprietary technology to deliver impact at scale.
  • Deliver high impact from Circana thought leadership , at multiple levels and across multiple functions at the retailer.
  • Work closely with other leaders of Retail teams for share and reapply.
