About The Position

Duties / Responsibilities:

1. Install and configure satellite and IP-based video equipment.

2. Design and implement scalable video acquisition solutions, streaming
protocols, and network transport methods.

3. Monitor IPTV services and analyze real-time and historical data to
identify and resolve quality issues.

4. Collaborate with network teams to optimize video transport and address
network-related problems.

5. Lead system upgrades involving new standards.

6. Implement security protocols and ensure compliance with
content-provider requirements.

7. Oversee end-to-end acquisition and ingest of live and VOD content prior
to handoff to headend systems.

8. Rare travel required within the Miami–Ft. Lauderdale–West Palm Beach
area (not to exceed 5% of working time).

9. Required: U.S. bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Electrical
Engineering or Computer Science.

10. Required: 24 months of experience in video acquisition, IPTV, or
broadcast engineering with a focus on satellite, IP, and fiber video
transport.
