Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related field
  • Licensed Professional Engineer in the United States with the ability to obtain licensure in the state of Minnesota
  • Demonstrated previous experience with open channel hydraulics modeling
  • Knowledge of hydrologic and hydraulic modeling software such as HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, InfoWorksICM, or PCSWMM
  • Ability to travel as needed for team meetings, client consultations, on-site inspections/visits, etc.; Occasional overnight travel will be required.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in dam and levee design, engineering, and construction
  • Experience in 2D Hydraulic models
  • CFD Modeling experience
  • Experience working with a team of drainage engineers, civil engineers and highway designers to deliver large transportation projects
  • Experience and interested in supervising and mentoring other engineers and team members
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
