About The Position

The Sr. Web Strategist is a hands-on operator responsible for executing and optimizing Demandbase’s web strategy in support of growth, conversion, and AI-forward storytelling. Reporting to the Director of Web Strategy, this role partners closely on strategy while owning day-to-day execution, experimentation, journey optimization, and measurable performance outcomes. This role is ideal for a person who is AI-curious, data-driven, and comfortable operating in fast-moving environments. The Web Strategist will serve as a trusted owner of the website experience and play a critical role in maintaining momentum and operational continuity while the Director is on maternity leave.

Requirements

  • 4–6+ years of experience in web strategy, digital marketing, or growth optimization
  • Experience running experiments and analyzing performance data
  • Familiarity with AI-powered marketing tools and modern web platforms
  • Strong project management and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Comfortable owning execution and making recommendations with guidance

Responsibilities

  • Execute Demandbase’s web strategy across priority pages, journeys, and experiences
  • Partner with Brand, Product, Content, and Demand teams to implement messaging, UX, and experience updates
  • Ensure the website accurately reflects Demandbase’s evolving AI capabilities and value proposition
  • Manage performance of the website, ensuring it is optimized to influence and accelerate pipeline growth
  • Monitor funnel performance across key entry points, high-intent pages, and conversion paths
  • Proactively identify performance gaps and implement optimizations to improve pipeline contribution
  • Ensure major web initiatives are grounded in measurable outcomes and aligned to business goals
  • Map and document key customer journeys across priority personas and buying groups
  • Analyze how different audiences navigate the digital experience across demandbase.com and related properties
  • Identify friction points, drop-offs, and misalignments in messaging or UX
  • Use journey insights to inform experimentation, personalization, and content prioritization
  • Build out CRO foundations that set us up to scale in the quarters to come
  • Plan, launch, and manage experiments across UX, content, personalization, and conversion paths
  • Use AI-enabled tools and analytics to generate insights and improve testing velocity
  • Translate experiment results into clear recommendations and incremental gains
  • Ensure significant experience changes are informed by testing and validated through data
  • Manage timelines, priorities, and cross-functional dependencies for web initiatives
  • Serve as a reliable day-to-day owner of the website while the Director is on maternity leave
  • Bring structure and follow-through to ensure work is delivered on time and at high quality
  • Own the customer journey and optimization of that digital journey across our marketing domains.
  • Identify and implement opportunities to improve efficiency and performance across the website through expanded use of AI and Demandbase products
