We’re looking for a Senior Website Manager to drive operational excellence, governance, optimization, and innovative design for Veracode.com. This role reports into the Head of Product Marketing and works closely with the Creative Director. It goes beyond daily operations, focusing on high-level web strategy, cross-functional leadership, enhanced performance, and data-backed UX/UI design to align digital experiences with business goals—boosting traffic, engagement, lead generation, and conversions. You will own the web roadmap, oversee website evolution for personalization and efficiency, and partner with teams to translate requirements into impactful features. Using expertise in WordPress CMS and Pantheon, you will manage infrastructure, design/build templates, support demand gen, events and campaigns, build pages, publish content, and optimize speed, security, and user-centric experiences. The Senior Website Manager will enhance lead generation, conversion rates, customer journeys aligned to persona, and the site's visual/immersive appeal in an AI-driven era.

Requirements

  • 8+ years in web management, digital marketing, or web program management, with strong emphasis on strategy, design oversight, and growth.
  • Expert in WordPress (Gutenberg/Blocks), plugins, themes, customizations; familiarity with Pantheon and enterprise CMS best practices.
  • Proficient in web design principles, UI/UX best practices, responsive/modern trends (e.g., micro-interactions, organic/asymmetric layouts), and tools like Figma, Adobe XD, or Creative Suite and Ceros.
  • Strong experience with GA4, Google Tag Manager, UTM strategies, SEO and GEO tools (SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog), and CRO (A/B testing, heatmaps like Hotjar).
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, MySQL; frontend literacy (e.g., CSS Grid/Flexbox, animations).
  • Familiarity with website security, ADA/WCAG compliance (accessibility-first design), performance optimization, and 2026 trends like AI personalization and immersive interactivity.
  • Proven project management skills (e.g., Jira, Asana); experience managing agencies, vendors, in-house teams (development/design).
  • Strong analytical mindset; ability to present performance, design, and growth reports to executives.
  • Stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration expertise.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Roadmap & Vision — Architect and execute web strategies, incorporating AI tools for personalization and growth, to drive traffic, engagement, SEO, generative search (GEO) and conversions.
  • Design Strategy & Governance — Lead visual and UX evolution, ensuring designs align with brand identity; manage scalable design systems, wireframes/prototypes (e.g., Figma), and trends like micro-interactions, organic layouts, and performance-driven creativity.
  • Conversion-First UX & AI-Enhanced Personalization — Direct user journeys for high-stakes pages; implement AI-driven adaptive experiences and A/B testing to optimize funnels.
  • Operational Governance — Oversee publishing workflows, permissions, QA, and compliance (e.g., WCAG 2.2 accessibility, including inclusive design).
  • Performance Optimization — Use advanced analytics (GA4), Core Web Vitals monitoring, A/B/multivariate testing, and heatmaps to balance rich visuals with site speed to continuously improve funnel performance.
  • SEO, GEO & Growth Management — Lead technical SEO, GEO, keyword strategies, and content performance for organic visibility in generative search eras.
  • Technical Oversight — Manage WordPress (or similar enterprise CMS), coordinate with IT/developers on infrastructure, security, bugs, and features.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership — Partner with stakeholders, internal and external vendors, to align and project manage initiatives, gather requirements, and implement.
  • Vendor and Agency Partnership - Act as the primary liaison for contracted web development partners and agencies. Scope projects, manage timelines and deliverables, conduct quality reviews, and ensure external teams align with our standards, brand guidelines, and strategic objectives.
  • Data & Analytics / UTM Strategy — Monitor traffic, behavior, conversions; implement comprehensive UTM tracking and campaign attribution.
  • Marketing Automation Integration — Work with marketing ops to ensure seamless ties with Marketo forms, lead capture, and CRM (Salesforce).
