The Office of Real Property Management is seeking two Workplace Strategist. A Workplace Strategist at Department of State must be both spatial and analytical. The Workplace Strategist will work with organizations within the Department to assess their workplace, finding ways to improve utilization and spaces required for staff to execute their mission. A successful candidate in this position must be responsive, flexible, and able to succeed within an open and collaborative peer environment. This role is intended to increase the emphasis on implementing a hybrid-work model by identifying and planning for organizations within Department of State, individual teams, and employee needs in advance of growth while streamlining efforts and tools to reduce overall cost. The candidate for this position must be an excellent communicator, with an ability to guide stakeholders in defining scope and effectively using resources. The Senior Workplace Strategist at Department of State must be strategic, and data driven. The Senior Workplace Strategist will lead the development of an enterprise domestic strategy for desk sharing, hoteling, and remote work. A successful candidate in this position must be responsive, flexible, and able to succeed within an open and collaborative peer environment. This role is intended to drive the implementation of a hybrid-work model by developing enterprise strategies, evaluating portfolio performance using quantitative techniques, and reporting on organizational progress to all levels of Department leadership. The ideal candidate for this position is resilient and an excellent communicator. They must also have a deep understanding of real estate, space management, universal design, and sustainable principals.
