Blavity Inc. is seeking a data-driven SEO Analyst to support our Director of SEO in driving organic growth across our portfolio of digital media brands, including AfroTech, Travel Noire, and Blavity. This is a Contracted W2 position. This role will be instrumental in conducting comprehensive SEO analysis, identifying content opportunities, and implementing optimization strategies that enhance our visibility in search engines and drive targeted organic traffic. The SEO Analyst will work cross-functionally with editorial and content marketing teams to ensure SEO best practices are integrated throughout our content creation and publishing workflows. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in SEO analysis within a media, publishing, or agency environment, with strong skills in keyword research, competitive analysis, and performance tracking. Experience working in project-based or fast-paced environments is highly preferred, as this role requires managing multiple initiatives across different brand properties simultaneously. This position requires a strategic mindset combined with hands-on execution capabilities to identify timely content opportunities and translate data insights into actionable recommendations. This role reports directly to the Director of SEO and must be able to commit to 15hours a week. NOTE: Contractors will be responsible for providing their own equipment, including but not limited to laptop computers, cell phones, or any other electronic equipment required to perform their role.
