About The Position

Signia by Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek is looking for a Part-Time Server Assistant to join the Food and Beverage team in their Fine-Dining Italian Restaurant called "La Luce"! This one-of-a-kind property boasts 12 different dining options, over 1000 guest rooms, 231,000 sq. ft. of flexible meeting space, with 3 ballrooms, 34 meeting rooms, 2 dedicated boardrooms, and unique outdoor spaces. The ideal candidate will hold comparable experience, ideally from working in a Fine Dining restaurant, as a Server Assistant, Food and Beverage runner, busser and have full availability to work the ever-changing schedule of hospitality. This is a fantastic opportunity for those seeking to begin their hospitality career. Shift Pattern\: 3-4 shifts per week, Full availability with schedules, weekends and holidays as needed, with shifts starting as early as 5PM and ending as late as 11\:30PM. What will I be doing? As a Server Assistant, you would be responsible for setting and clearing dining tables and stocking service stations in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

Responsibilities

  • Set and prepare tables for dining, including, but not limited to, folding napkins, cleaning and placing tableware, serving water, etc.
  • Ensure tableware is in good and working condition and report any defects for repair
  • Stock, maintain and clean designated food station(s)
  • Assist food server(s) with table service, including, but not limited to, serving beverages, breads, etc.
  • Retrieve and transport dirty tableware to dishwashing area
  • Respond to guest inquiries and requests and resolve issues in a timely, friendly and efficient manner
