The Experience You’ll Create: Today, we'll be interviewing for: Bartender, Culinary, Deck Crew and Server/Floor Ingredients for Thriving: Bartender Must be 17 years or older Must have one year of bartending experience, knowledge of techniques and equipment for serving, storing and handling food and beverage products Efficient in describing and serving different types of liquor, cocktails, beer and wines Preferred TIPS Certification or can pass TIPS Class to become certified Culinary Working knowledge about food handling, food sanitation, and safety 1 -3 years previous cooking experience preferred Must possess use of all kitchen equipment and report any deficiencies including knife handling skills and cooking techniques such as braising, sauté, sear and grill Must possess proper recipe conversion and measuring Serve Safe and Allergen Certification preferred Deck Crew Train as a Core member of the Service Team Acts as a brand ambassador embodying our core values Is committed to excellence Able and willing to work shifts on water Server/Floor Attends pre shift meetings with event managers and team to review event’s briefing and timing Ensure the set-up in all service areas are executed in a timely manner, not limited to moving tables, chairs and equipment Identify opportunities and ensure that guest’s expectations are being met Maintain and able to pass appetizers and beverages while providing guest services thought out cocktail hour Able to work with a dining room lead and team members to serve plated or strolling cuisine, pour water and wine tableside and support in a fine dining environment Deliver outstanding service throughout the event process Savor the Benefits: We offer a range of benefits for eligibles team members, including: Health Coverage – Medical, Dental and Vision Voluntary Life/AD&D, Short-Term and Long-Term Disability, Critical Illness 401(k) Paid Time Off Wellness Programs Additional Perks To see a summary of current benefits, please visit https://www.continentalserves.com/work-at-continental/#benefits .
