The Bartender is responsible for bar service in the Community cocktail lounge. Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of a Bartender: Takes orders, provides service, and requested items both graciously and courteously. Answers pertinent questions about drink items. Clear all tableware from tables and bars after service. Cleans all glassware and dishes, including ashtrays, and distributes. Stocks, restocks, and rotates supplies. Prepares garnishes for bar use. Prepares snack trays. Maintains all documents necessary to accurately account for resident and guest charges. Assists supervisor with inventory of supplies. Serves in the Dining Room as needed. Here are a few of the qualifications we need you to have: Ability to understand and follow instructions in English and communicate effectively. Experience bartending in a hotel, restaurant or club with fine dining experience preferred. Ability to work in close cooperation with residents, guests, visitors, families, supervisor, and peers. Requires courtesy, tact and graciousness. Must be at least 21 years of age.
