About The Position
The Bartender is responsible for bar service in the Community cocktail lounge.
Requirements
- Ability to understand and follow instructions in English and communicate effectively.
- Experience bartending in a hotel, restaurant or club with fine dining experience preferred.
- Ability to work in close cooperation with residents, guests, visitors, families, supervisor, and peers. Requires courtesy, tact and graciousness.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
Responsibilities
- Takes orders, provides service, and requested items both graciously and courteously. Answers pertinent questions about drink items.
- Clear all tableware from tables and bars after service.
- Cleans all glassware and dishes, including ashtrays, and distributes.
- Stocks, restocks, and rotates supplies.
- Prepares garnishes for bar use. Prepares snack trays.
- Maintains all documents necessary to accurately account for resident and guest charges.
- Assists supervisor with inventory of supplies.
- Serves in the Dining Room as needed.
