About The Position
Provide exceptional service and hospitality in a venue that provides table side service. Apply a high level of service recovery and attention to detail throughout the dining experience. Creates an enjoyable and safe dining experience for residents and guests in accordance with Lenbrook dining and current applicable federal, state, and local regulatory guidelines and standards. Demonstrate basic service techniques and style. Ability to take orders accurately and enter them in POS system. Basic knowledge of food preparation and ingredients. Follow all safety and sanitation rules and regulations. Ability to clean and reset dining spaces. Promote clean, safe and neat environment. Knowledge of fire safety procedures; assist with evacuation of residents if needed. Maintain confidentiality of residents’ personal and medical record information. Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Front-of-the house experience.
- Ability to be organized while multi-tasking.
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be able to demonstrate a high level of sensitivity and interest in people, especially older adults.
- Must have patience, tact and cheerful disposition.
- 1 year of Serving experience
