We are opening a new full-service restaurant in Shell Beach serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Custom House Restaurant Group is opening a new full-service restaurant in Shell Beach serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We are looking for servers who enjoy working in a team environment and take pride in providing great guest service. Servers are responsible for creating a welcoming dining experience by taking food and beverage orders, delivering attentive service, and helping maintain a smooth flow of service throughout breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We provide full coverage for required Food Handler and Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) training and certification. Training time and certification costs are covered in accordance with company policy and California requirements. Employment is at-will in accordance with California law. Requirements
- Previous serving experience required
- Strong communication and guest service skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Team-oriented attitude
- Availability for mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Ability to obtain and maintain California Food Handler and Responsible Beverage Service Certification
Responsibilities
- Greet guests and provide friendly, attentive service
- Take food and beverage orders accurately
- Enter orders into the POS system
- Deliver food and drinks to guests in a timely manner
- Check in with guests and respond to requests during their meal
- Maintain knowledge of menu items and specials
- Keep work areas clean and organized
- Work with team members to ensure smooth service
