About The Position

Alto Wheaton is hiring a Part-Time Server to join our Dining Services team in our senior living community in Wheaton, IL. Requirements

Must be a minimum of 16 years of age.
Must pay attention to detail, be flexible/adaptable, have safety awareness, and be a team player.
Must have positive Criminal Background Screening.
The Community is a drug free workplace; associates are subject to adherence to the Company Drug Free Workplace policy.

Nice To Haves

Food Handler Certificate preferred (not required)
Prior serving or customer service experience preferred
Friendly, dependable, and detail-oriented
A positive attitude and heart for serving seniors
Food serving experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Greet and seat residents and guests in a timely and professional manner as well as approach and interact with residents and guests in a friendly, service-oriented, and professional manner.
Serve food in an efficient and professional manner.
Clear tables of glasses, silverware, dishes, etc. when residents and guests have finished a course or their meal according to Company protocol.
Maintain a clean dining room. Chairs, windows, floors, and all work areas should be wiped down and sanitized after every meal period.
Deliver and retrieve trays to and from residents’ apartments as needed.
Label and date all food.
