Requirements
- Previous serving experience in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant (minimum 1 year preferred)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a guest-first attitude
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a dynamic work environment
- Comfortable with using Point of Sale (POS) systems efficiently
- Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills, with a willingness to assist coworkers as needed
- Able to memorize menu items and make thoughtful recommendations
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 8 hours or more)
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. unassisted
- Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and climb stairs as necessary in a multi-level restaurant environment
- Must have flexible availability, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Reliable transportation to and from the restaurant
- Ability to obtain and maintain a California Food Handler's Certification card and Responsible Beverage Service Certification

Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and escort them to their tables
- Accurately take food and drink orders and enter them into the POS system
- Memorize menu items and make informed recommendations
- Provide attentive service, including timely refills and regular check-ins
- Respond promptly and professionally to guest concerns, involving management when needed
- Maintain cleanliness and adhere to all sanitation standards
