About The Position
Join the hospitality team at On the Rocks, the premier dining and event destination at the award-winning Fox Hopyard Golf Club. Our mission is to provide the most pristine and member-focused experience in the region. We specialize in high-end weddings, golf outings, and private celebrations, delivering service that is polished, professional, and attentive with a warm, friendly feel. We are looking for energetic, team-oriented individuals to join our Banquet & Event Staff. Banquet Servers: Responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences during events, including set-up, formal food service, and efficient table clearing (pre-busing). Banquet Bartenders: Skilled professionals focused on high-quality cocktail service, upselling premium spirits, and maintaining a clean, organized bar area under our "polished and professional" standards.
Requirements
- Prior experience as a Server in a restaurant or banquet setting preferred, willing to train the right candidate
- Must be able to work weekends.
- Prior experience with alcohol and wine service preferred
- Food Safety Handler, Allergen Awareness, Choke Saver, and Alcohol Service training certifications preferred
- The "Wow" Factor: We treat every customer as if they are the most important person on the property.
- Professionalism: You must adhere to a strict dress code (supplied black uniform shirt, black slacks, and non-slip shoes) and maintain a "step ahead" mindset to anticipate guest needs.
- Team Players: Our staff works as a united front. We value those who are willing to help teammates across all sections to ensure every event is flawless.
- Reliability: Shifts are based on our event calendar, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
