Position Description We are looking for a highly motivated Service Center Representative to join our distribution team. The Service Center Rep. approaches their work with a customer service mindset and is responsible for enabling positive interactions with our clients. This position will manage incoming calls, write credits, and process all paperwork for all loads coming in/out of the Distribution Center. They will ensure that the Order Management System accurately reflects physical inventory counts. Will be responsible for placing orders and supervising daily operations in the absence of the Regional Distribution Manager.

Requirements

  • Ability to research, analyze, and respond appropriately to customer inquiries.
  • Ability to spot issues as they arise, research fixes, communicate and strategize effectively, and execute on final plans.
  • Possesses excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong customer service mindset
  • Ability to adapt in a fast-paced distribution environment
  • Comply with appropriate company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
  • Excellent computer skills with knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite of products.
  • Must be willing to travel to other distribution centers, within the region, when required.
  • Minimum of 2- 3 years in general office experience, to include proven clerical and data entry experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Access database experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of Mutual Materials Company products is a plus.
  • Previous experience within customer service roles, purchasing, or equivalent is preferred but not required.
