About The Position

We are a leading provider of Private 5G as-a-service and managed network solutions, delivering secure, reliable connectivity to enterprise clients in industrial, logistics, healthcare, and other sectors. As we build our Security Operations Center (SOC), we are creating high-impact roles that combine client-focused service delivery with cutting-edge cybersecurity in telecom environments. This position offers a clear career progression into SOC leadership. The Service Delivery Lead – Security Services will oversee the day-to-day delivery of our security-managed services, including Private 5G network security monitoring, incident support, client reporting, and SLA compliance. This role serves as the operational bridge between clients, our engineering teams, and emerging SOC functions. It is ideal for a high-potential professional with service delivery or operations experience who wants to grow into SOC management by gaining deep exposure to security operations, client security postures, and telecom-specific threats.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Telecommunications, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 4–7 years of experience in service delivery, operations, or client-facing roles, preferably in managed services (MSP/MSSP), telecom, or IT security environments.
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity fundamentals, incident lifecycle, and service level management.
  • Experience with client relationship management, SLA monitoring, and reporting tools (e.g., dashboards in tools like Splunk, Power BI, or ServiceNow).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to translate technical security concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced, multi-client environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in telecom/network operations (e.g., 4G/5G, RAN, core networking) or managed security services.
  • Familiarity with security tools (SIEM, EDR, vulnerability scanners) or ticketing systems (e.g., Jira, Zendesk).
  • Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, ITIL Foundation, CISSP (or in progress), or GIAC certifications.
  • Prior supervisory or team lead experience.
  • Knowledge of Private 5G security challenges (e.g., network slicing, edge security, supply chain risks).

Responsibilities

  • Service Delivery & Operations: Lead end-to-end delivery of security services for Private 5G clients, including monitoring oversight, alert triage support, incident coordination, and remediation tracking. Ensure consistent achievement of SLAs and KPIs (e.g., uptime, response times, client satisfaction).
  • Client Relationship Management: Act as the primary operational point of contact for assigned clients on security matters. Conduct regular service reviews, present security dashboards/reports, address concerns, and identify upsell opportunities for enhanced SOC services.
  • Process & Tool Management: Collaborate on defining and improving security delivery processes, playbooks, and workflows. Assist in configuring and optimizing SOC tools (SIEM, EDR, NDR) for multi-tenant Private 5G environments. Support automation initiatives to reduce manual effort.
  • Team Leadership & Coordination: Supervise junior analysts/delivery team members, coordinate cross-functional efforts (e.g., with network engineers, incident responders), and provide guidance during incidents. Build and mentor a small delivery sub-team.
  • Performance & Reporting: Track and report on service metrics, incident trends, and client security posture. Contribute to monthly/quarterly executive and client reports. Identify areas for continuous improvement in security service delivery.
  • Compliance & Risk Support: Ensure delivered services align with relevant standards (e.g., 3GPP security guidelines, NIST, client-specific requirements). Assist in audits and risk assessments for Private 5G deployments.
  • Growth & Development Path: Actively participate in SOC build-out initiatives, gain hands-on experience with advanced threat detection/response, pursue relevant certifications, and take on increasing leadership responsibilities to prepare for SOC Manager role.

Benefits

  • Clear pathway to SOC Manager or equivalent leadership role within 2–3 years, with mentorship from VP of Engineering and executive team.
