About The Position

VNE, LLC is looking for a TS/SCI Cleared Service Desk Specialist Provides technical support to users, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, answering inquiries, and guiding users through problem-solving, often serving as the first point of contact for IT issues. The contractor shall maintain engineering knowledge and assist in the development of documentation that supports the Systems Engineering Technical Process and Systems Engineering Technical Management Process IAW DoD 5000-series Acquisition polices, DoN systems engineering policies, and other applicable MARCORSYSCOM guidance. Documentation includes, but is not limited to, the following in accordance with CDRL A001, Engineering Documentation: Systems Engineering Plans Program Environmental Safety and Health Evaluations Safety documentation Test and Evaluation Strategies Requirement Traceability Matrixes Cybersecurity Assurance Strategies Information Support Plans SW Development Plans Architecture Views
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's degree, or 10+ years or more of practical experience in service support management
- Experience: 5+ years experience in Service Desk management.
- DoD 8570/8140 compliance or information assurance certification commensurate with technical objectives and services required within the task order.
- Applicable software or hardware training and certifications commensurate with the technical objectives, services required, and IT environment specified within the task order.
- TS/SCI level Clearance required.
Responsibilities

- Ability to communicate task requirement information to client in a clear and concise manner.
- Must be able to sit and stand for prolonged periods of time, as well as lead and participate in meetings and working groups.
- Requires visual acuity to use a keyboard.
- Must be able to attend work each day, during scheduled hours, unless on travel or approved time off.
- Ability to work on computer for long periods, and communicate with individuals by telephone, email and face-to-face
